Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To drive the provision of adequate Credit Risk controls of Business and Commercial Clients (BCC), focusing on mitigating risks encountered in the post-credit granting stage of the lending process by evaluating and auditing the loan verification and sanction processes and related activities and oversee the rectification thereof to minimise credit risks.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
3 year qualification in Banking or Finance and Accounting
Experience Required:
- Credit Risk-BCC
1-2 years: Experience in dealing directly with Branches, specifically in the Account Support department. Good understanding of what Portfolio Management entails and skills to implement same. Frontline interaction (Customer interaction) will contribute to the understanding of what needs to be done in the specific job under discussion. With increased levels of understanding amongst Branch Business Support, the turnaround times will have a commensurate improvement. - 5-7 years: Deep knowledge of various legislative requirements, particularly as it pertains to credit agreements, loan documentation, legal processes, and the variety of lending mechanisms & types of collateral that may be used. Thorough understanding of relevant registration processes and various contingencies that may occur under exceptional conditions particularly pertaining to the assets of large corporate organisations.
