Key Responsibilities:
As the Head of Data / Insight , you'll lead a small, high-impact team, delivering data-driven insights and analytics to support strategic business decisions. With over 5 years of leadership experience and a strong background in data analytics, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's data strategy.
Key Requirements:
- Lead and mentor a team of two, focusing on both technical growth and professional development. You'll bring over 5 years of leadership experience, empowering the team to excel and contribute meaningfully to the organisation's goals.
- Utilise your extensive experience in SQL, Power BI, and Python to conduct and oversee complex data analysis, ensuring high-quality insights and actionable recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for data-driven decision-making. Confident in challenging and being challenged, you'll ensure that insights are effectively communicated and acted upon.
- Oversee the analysis and interpretation of data, driving strategic initiatives within the organisation. You'll use your expertise to explore new opportunities for data application, particularly within subscription-based models.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years in a leadership role, with a strong focus on data analytics and insight generation.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Python, with hands-on experience in complex data analysis and visualisation.
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, with a confident and assertive communication style.
- Experience in subscription-based business models is highly valued; experience in the gambling or gaming industry is not required.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
