Role Purpose
Hiconnex (Pty) Ltd, seeks an Internal Sales Administrator who will support management in meeting and exceeding the overall objectives of the Internal and External Sales Department.
Responsibilities and Work Outputs
• Establish customer confidence through delivery on promises
• Follow up on quotes issued
• Complete internal sales orders
• Maintain accurate record of all sales activities and meet set sales objectives
• Managing and maintaining the departments schedules, calendars, and appointments / Meetings and training
• Coordinating travel arrangements, bookings, etc. For external who are travelling and supplier who are coming for visits
• Providing administrative support to the team when required. Assist with filing
• Managing sales material. (Catalogues, sample room, managing inventory, etc.)
• Providing general customer support
• Assisting with Marketing campaigns, social media management and event planning
• Expediting orders from suppliers
• Informing clients of any delays in shipments
• Issuing back-order reports to clients on a weekly basis
• Reporting and Analysis: Generating sales reports, tracking sales budgets and performance
• Facilitating effective communication among sales team, management and other departments
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent advantageous
• Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• A team player with high level of dedication
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
Experience
• 1-2 years’ internal sales experience
• Computer literate (Sage X3, Word, Excel, Internet and Email)
• Must be figure orientated
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently
