Requirements:
- Relevant BTech or degree or academic Diploma equating to 360 credits combined with proven competence and experience.
- Up to eight (8) years’ relevant experience.
- Valid Code B or EB driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas:
- Manage and determine optimal life cycle for all fleet assets (vehicle and plant).
- Provide fleet to the City and ensure a roadworthy safe and fit for purpose fleet, in compliance with RTA, RTQS, OHSA, IDP, GAMAP and other corporate legislative guidelines.
- Manage the insurance fleet.
- Ensure that fleet is maintained, operated and repaired efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and control fleet budgets.
- Manage fleet rental recoveries.
- Perform and execute proactive scheduling and maintenance to ensure maximum availability of the fleet.
- Manage customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Plan, manage and implement the development of projects.
- Manage and administer contracts within the business area.
