Technician: Refrigeration – Cape Town
The client, a national company is seeking a Refrigeration Technician who is qualified and experienced for their Cape Town premises to do maintenance of all refrigeration equipment as well as attend to call-outs.
• Education: Grade 12
• Certifications: Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test completed, Gas Handling Licence
• Technical Skills: Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong understanding of refrigeration equipment
• Experience: 1 – 2 years in refrigeration
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, strong written & verbal communication, teamwork, business acumen, drive and commitment, tenacity, analytical skills, problem-solving & decision-making
• Key Responsibilities:
* Strong understanding of the operational geographical area
* Excellent proficiency with refrigeration equipment
* Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
* Keen attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Detail-oriented
* Outstanding interpersonal skills
* Team-oriented
* Must possess business acumen (understanding of key business issues)
