Overview: We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Content and Strategy Specialist with a deep understanding of the content that resonates across social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of creating content for content creators and influencers and have a solid grasp of the historical and political landscape of the Middle East, and a passion for crafting content that educates, engages, and inspires.
Confidently lead meetings with clients, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment, while also effectively managing and inspiring a team to achieve goals and deliver results. Leadership and client management skills are essential to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate, develop, manage, and execute social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Brief compelling and relevant content tailored to each platform, into the content studio.
- Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to optimise content performance.
- Collaborate with the campaign team to align social media content with overall messaging and objectives.
- Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies to maximise reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in Middle Eastern politics, ensuring content is accurate and contextually relevant.
- Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and current issues to inform content strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Content Specialist, Social Media Manager, or similar role, preferably in a political campaign or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Middle East's history, politics, and current events.
- Must have a knack for storytelling.
- Experience with social media management tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
