Introduction
Applications are invited for the position of Head of Technology Implementation and Integration based at Head Office (Bruma). The successful applicant will report to the Chief Technology and Information Officer. The role involves developing and implementing a technology strategy aligned with the organization's vision and strategy, ensuring stable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure. Responsibilities include executing strategic technology investments, managing deployment and operationalization of digital infrastructure, and leading the technology operations team.
Major Activities
- Develop, implement, and manage a systems infrastructure management strategy and roadmap.
- Ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure.
- Provide strategic leadership in planning and managing technology infrastructure.
- Assess technology trends' impact on enterprise infrastructure needs.
- Lead technology infrastructure management strategic planning activities.
- Provide technical expertise for strategic, tactical, and operational initiatives.
- Develop, review, and maintain relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
- Lead the implementation of security policies.
- Contribute to the management of day-to-day technology infrastructure operations.
- Research and implement innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure ongoing provision of professional advice and consultation.
- Ensure effective data recovery plans for business continuity.
- Ensure adherence to the relevant regulatory framework.
- Ensure training of all users and experts of products and services.
- Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Plan and manage the function's finances in line with company priorities.
- Create a harmonious and effective workforce by promoting safety and high morale.
Minimum Qualifications
B.Eng./BSc in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics)
Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/IT Project Management/Engineering or related field
ITIL, COBIT 5, knowledge of cloud technologies (Infrastructure or DevOps or Solution Architecture) certification is advantageous
ECSA Professional Registration is an advantage
ISACA Professional Registration is an advantage
Leadership qualification in a relevant field
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in technology infrastructure planning and management, with at least 5 years at a managerial level in a complex operations environment.
In-depth IT and business/industry work experience in technology operations management is required.
Knowledge required
Advanced knowledge of technology infrastructure management
Sound knowledge of architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
In-depth working knowledge of ICAO global and regional plans and SARP’s
A working knowledge of ITU regulations
Knowledge of ATNS quality management system
Knowledge of the aviation regulatory framework and relevant legislation
Knowledge of Labour legislation
