Your duties could include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the group, ensuring efficiency across all business units
Consolidate and prepare group financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making and business strategy
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, aligning them with the group's objectives
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability and operational support
Identify financial risks and ensure proper internal controls and regulatory compliance
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration to improve business performance
Oversee financial reporting and ensure timely communication of results to stakeholders
Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions, handling financing and investment strategies
Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) planning and evaluate investment opportunities
Implement treasury strategies to manage cash reserves and funding requirements
Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and operational processes
Develop and track financial KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals
Skills & Experience:
At least 5 years of post-article experience
Experience operating at EXCO level
Exposure to group company operations
Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar sector is advantageous
Qualification:
ACMA, CGMA with CIMA
CA(SA)
