A well established company based in Limpopo is seeking a Regional Training Manager. Duties: Will be travelling daily to different stores with Limpopo Training needs analyses are conducted in liaison with the relevant Regional Managers taking into consideration operational needs, succession planning, employment equity goals and SETA discretionary grant criteria Management is assisted with the compilation of training and development plans for employees Development plans are approved by the National Training Manager Training expenditure is monitored monthly and is in line with the allocated training budget Training expenses are authorised by the National Training Manager Training material is developed and/or reviewed in accordance with identified needs Training material is outcomes based where applicable aligned to Unit Standards and reflects appropriate training methodologies Training is coordinated and scheduled in accordance with operational needs and Workplace Skills Plan commitments Training material and requisite training resources and equipment are prepared, arranged and ready prior to the scheduled training taking place Learnerships (where applicable) are coordinated, managed and monitored in accordance with internal and SETA requirements Training (including Induction) is facilitated in accordance with stipulated outcomes employing outcomes based training methodologies Early morning training sessions are developed in accordance with identified needs Assessments are coordinated and scheduled after training has taken place to determine competency Access our career portal on a daily basis, to sort CV into store folders To screen CV for best possible candidates per store Ensure RTR is done for vacancies Screen CV Telephonic interviews are done Pre employments assessments are done and score with feedback to Regional Manager Arrange interviews for lower level staff with Store Management Arrange Supervisor and Manager level with Regional Manager Training records are completed within agreed upon timeframes Training feedback report is compiled and submitted to the relevant Regional Manager and National Training Manager on a weekly basis All relevant employee files are updated with training records and assessments on completion of training Training Certificates are obtained for HR / National Training Manager Copies of all training registers are forwarded to National Training Manager on a monthly basis Attends regular meetings with store managers, regional managers and auditors in order to discuss employee performance Attends Training meeting every morning to discuss region training performance All work is carried out in an organised and efficient manner and within the allocated time frame Managers are informed about activities, progress and results and feedback is provided as stipulated To carry out any other reasonable request by a senior person and any other job function or task of a lower level if and when required Requirements : Matric (Grade 12) Training and development Diploma 3-6 years experience in the retail environment 1-2 years experience in a managerial position Reliable Vehicle is essential Competencies: Time Management Self-motivated Problem-solving Visual attention skills Computer Literacy: MS Office (Excel, Outlook,Word)
