The Project Controller is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and administering the project controls, principally cost and schedule. The role is also responsible for ensuring high quality, timely and accurate monthly reporting of the project progress for internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will provide input and advice to facilitate project governance in the key areas of construction schedule, cost, and risk.

Key Responsibilities
Project Control
Monitor and report on progress, performance, and compliance to enable the project to be delivered on time and on budget.
Maintain the program reporting structure to measure and communicate to the management team on the project performance against the baseline.
Develop, implement, manage, and maintain a control plan to ensure project compliance and best practice across the key areas of operations.
Financial/Cost Control
Ensure the accurate and concise project contract budget reporting is completed on time.
Implement and maintain Acciona Energia’s cost control systems.
Review and identify project cash flow requirements and communicate such to the Project Manager.
Provide the Project Manager and the project leadership team with project trend analysis.
Finalise CAPEX project financial close-out reports.
Provide feedback to estimating department on completed projects for future reference.
Communication
Liaises with project teams to keep informed of all relevant aspects of project reporting to assist in problem solving.
Effectively influence and communicate with all levels of management and project stakeholders.
Work collaboratively in a global matrix organisation.
Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ):
Promotes a positive safety and environmental culture and is a safety leader within the project team
Makes themselves aware of all the HSEQ responsibilities as detailed Systems and Procedures Manuals
Key Result Areas
Timely and coordinated reporting on progress, performance and compliance to enable the project to be delivered safely, on time and on budget.
Maintain an effective program reporting structure to measure and communicate performance to the management team, the client and the JV Board.
Ensures that all project team members are provided with the necessary planning information to assist them to undertake their duties.

Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
A qualification in construction management or engineering field is highly desirable.
Must have industry experience in similar complex construction project management environment.
Ideally have wind farm project execution experience and be familiar with typical wind farm critical path and risk analysis.
Minimum Experience:
At least 4 years’ experience in project control management, cost and schedule, in large infrastructure projects.
Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio and Primavera
Strong written and verbal communication capability
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to influence and communicate effectively.
Job-Specific Skills:
Demonstrated ability to analyses contractual / legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
Highly developed commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skills evidenced by effective dispute resolutions.
