Finance Manager Position

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of Financial Results: Analyze and interpret the company's financial performance, providing insightful recommendations for improvement to management.
- Process Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks within the company to enhance overall efficiency and throughput.
- Working Capital Management: Oversee working capital facilities with a focus on creditors and inventory management.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and maintain accuracy and completeness of trial balance month on month.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, monthly management accounts, and Board of Directors packs.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, setting and reviewing annual KPIs for reporting staff.
- Asset Management: Maintain fixed and tax asset registers, conducting annual impairment tests and reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reviews, identifying cost reduction opportunities and preparing ad hoc reports as required.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, suppliers, team members, and external auditors.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- BCom Accounting or Finance related
- Completed CIMA (non-negotiable)
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 4 years' experience as a Finance Manager
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and reporting
