ENVIRONMENT:
If you are passionate about security technology, customer satisfaction, and enhancing retail security, we are looking for you. As an EAS Product Specialist, you will ensure the seamless operation of our client's Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) solutions. These solutions deter theft, reduce shrinkage, manage inventory, and enhance overall retail security. Your main responsibility will be to promote and sell their advanced EAS products to retailers, providing them with the tools to protect their merchandise and ensure a positive shopping experience.
DUTIES:
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of their EAS product portfolio, including Accousto-Magnetic (AM), Radio Frequency (RF) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in EAS technology.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify potential clients within the retail industry (e.g., supermarkets, fashion stores, electronics retailers).
- Present their EAS solutions to prospective clients, emphasizing their benefits in terms of security, inventory management, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue targets and expand their market presence.
Consultative Selling:
- Understand the unique needs of each client and tailor EAS solutions accordingly.
- Provide expert advice on integrating EAS systems into existing store layouts and operations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and address any client concerns.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with retail decision-makers, loss prevention managers, and store managers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote their products.
Technical Support:
- Assist clients during the installation and setup of EAS systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with their support team when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Education:
- Train retail staff on using EAS systems effectively.
- Educate clients on best practices for maximizing the benefits of EAS technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the retail or security industry.
- Familiarity with EAS technology (RF and RFID) is advantageous.
