We are a product design and development consultancy looking for an organised, detail orientated Image and Graphics Assistant to join our team. This role is to join our internal Multimedia team responsible for production our marketing communications. In this role, you will support the Multimedia team by assisting with the administration, processing and creation of visual assets including graphics and photography. You will work with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You will also work with QuMagie, our image management software, and be responsible for the organisation and filing of digital, visual assets, ensuring that our image library remains current and well organised. The successful candidate will, on occasion, also be required to perform other tasks including but not limited to support photoshoots and helping the Multimedia team update content on our website and social media channels. The hours of the role are Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only) (37 hours a week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organise a digital filing system for graphics, images, and films ensuring that all assets are correctly file named, tagged, and stored.
- Assist in managing version control of assets created.
- Assist in editing, retouching, and resizing images using Adobe Photoshop.
- Assist Graphic Designer with asset creation and layouts for advertising.
- Assist in updating content on our website and social media channels.
- On occasion, assisting Multimedia team with photoshoots.
What we expect
- Experience (Can be in an educational setting or home) in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Understanding of image file formats, resolutions and colour correction.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen diligence to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take direction and implement feedback efficiently.
- Mindset to constructively deal with challenging timelines.
Desirable
- Basic knowledge of digital and print production process.
- Experience with website back-end.
- Experience managing and organising large numbers of digital files.
