Production Operative
Salary:
Rate of pay £13.00 - £14.00 per hour dependant on experience
Mon - thurs 07:15 - 4:30pm
Fri 07:15-12:15pm
Production Operative - Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Clean driving licence and counter balance fork lift licence are all essential.
- Experience in an Industrial Engineering environment would be advantageous.
Production Operative - Duties:
- Delivering to Customers
- Driving a fork lift truck
- Site work/installations at customer s premises
- Drilling
- Folding steel
- Using a guillotine
- Cutting material on band saws
- Assembly work
- Presswork
- Assisting laser cutting operations
- Upkeep of shop floor ensuring areas are tidy and safe
- This position also involves general maintenance of the factory, general labouring and assisting steel fabricators on site, fitting jobs.
- Operating a laser cutter
