Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator – Operations and Sample Preparation, to join the team in Steelpoort. This individual will be responsible for providing efficient support and assist in maintaining a smooth and productive workflow.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Required Competencies
- Ability to demonstrate literacy and be numerate.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
- Trained in conflict management and effective interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead.
- Can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
- Ability to work from own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Energetic and self-starter.
- Commitment to safe working practices.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (with maths & science).
- Supervisor Certificate would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the different laws (Labour, Safety).
- Knowledge of sampling methodology.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Required Work Experience
- 3 years’ minimum experience in the commodity surveying, specific to metals and minerals.
