Job Overview:
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receiving of goods, particularly paper reels, into the paper reel store. This role involves coordinating with receiving and corrugator clamp drivers, ensuring compliance with safety and housekeeping standards, and maintaining stock accuracy. The coordinator plays a key role in supporting production processes and ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the Receiving Supervisor in supervising the receiving clamp driver and providing support to the corrugator clamp driver.
- Ensure all receiving activities are carried out according to company policies and safety standards.
- Accurately receipt paper using the Abaca system, both manually and with a scanner for local and imported paper.
- Reconcile imported paper deliveries with supplier packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts as required to maintain stock integrity.
- Identify and raise stock inaccuracies for correction, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Submit daily paperwork, including packing lists for imported paper reels and signed delivery notes for transporters, to relevant departments.
- Ensure that all consumed paper is accurately recorded, and issues are reflected in the Abaca system.
- Update and maintain reports, providing feedback during daily meetings with the manager.
- Support other departmental processes as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with finance to ensure accuracy in the documentation of other received goods (e.g., pallets, starch).
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in FMCG distribution or warehousing.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clamp driver license required.
- Must come out of previous Production or FMCG industries.

- Proficient in using inventory management systems, specifically the Abaca system.
