Our Procurement Team (Non Merchandise Products) is looking for an organized, trustworthy, and focused Procurement Administrator who is passionate about the buying and procurement process. The incumbent will be responsible for controlling and executing the NMP buying function within Cape Union Mart, in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures. Furthermore, the candidates will report whether policies, procedures, instructions, and systems (PIPS) governing procurement are being adhered to.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated, and actively involved in overseeing the end-to-end process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic retail environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct Requests for Quote in accordance with RFQ process
- Conduct Requests to Purchase in accordance with the Standard Operating procedure for procurement
- Process the Purchase Order within stipulated time frames
- Receipt of Goods which are to be equal to the Purchase order
- Maintain and implement Invoice Control
- Conduct Stock takes of NMP goods
- Inventory Control of NMP stocked products
- Provide Reports of daily stock positions
- Forecasting and Planning of Non Stock products
- All duties in compliance with the company Ethical and Procurement code
- Contract module
- New store, revamps, and store closures
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- 2 years + experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment
- Matric (Tertiary Education in a related field preferable)
- Strong coordination and administration skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (advanced Outlook, Word, and ERP proficiency)
