Inventory Planner
Our client in the retail industry requires the service of an Inventory Planner to manage the inbound Supply Chain through effective management of supplier accounts and product ranges.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key performance areas:
- Data analysis and reporting
- Promotional planning and replenishment
- System coordination of supplier accounts to optimize most profitable ordering patterns/frequency
- Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
- Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service
- Project Management
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain
- Excellent product knowledge
- Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office - Especially Excel - Pivot Tables)
- SAP Knowledge is Essential
- Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
