*THE ROLE: *
* Managing a portfolio of clients (individuals and partnerships) in relation to their personal tax returns, effectively managing all client relationships
* Regularly meeting with and speaking to clients to ensure the provision of a knowledgeable and professional level of service
* Dealing with P11D benefits forms
* Dealing with HMRC queries and letters
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
* Assisting in the development of less experienced colleagues, providing training/instruction where needed and reviewing junior team members’ tax returns
* Providing ad hoc advice on income tax and capital gains tax forms
* Dealing with ad hoc/simple ERS returns
* Dealing with ad hoc/basic Trust returns (e.g. nil Trust)
* Liaising with tax specialists as required.
*THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: *
* An experienced personal tax professional currently working within a practice
* High level of personal tax knowledge
* Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships
* Able to convey specialist knowledge in an understandable manner
* Strong team player, willing and able to share knowledge and experience with more junior colleagues
* Confident and professional in approach
* Self-motivated and resourceful with strong organisation skills
* Able to manage own workload and meet deadlines in an autonomous role.
* Highly proficient in IT including CCH and MS Office
* ATT Qualified ideally or Qualified by Experience

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
