*Who we’re looking for.*
We’re looking for an Accountant to deliver an excellent financial reporting service through the production of management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets for Co-op Homes and our client co-ops.
A typical day will involve producing quarterly management accounts for client co-ops, ensuring the audit is completed on time and preparing year end schedules and reconciliations. You’ll liaise with external auditors, bankers and other stakeholders and produce VAT returns, annual rent increase and monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll also provide advice on areas of financial risk to client co-ops.
Your advanced excel skills will help you to present financial information in an easy to understand format and you’ll be able to extract, analyse, summarise and report on data.
Your authentic and compelling communication skills will help you create and enhance lasting internal and external relationships, and your experience of delivering management accounting information and your accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) will help you to excel in the role.
You’ll live and breathe our behaviours and values, working collaboratively across the business to deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll have knowledge of service improvement techniques and the budget setting process.
