About the role Social Auxiliary /Psychosocial Counselor for Drug Rehabilitation service.
Responsibilities - Focused health project administration.
- Maintain efficient patient service Documents/records patient information according to Standard Operation Procedures and Regulations.Â
- Dictation of health reports/letters etc. Healthcare Data Capturing.
- Maintaining practice and department directories.
- Diary and appointment management and rescheduling of appointments - Answering incoming calls - Ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the practice.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Be responsible for initial assessments and intakes into the Drug Rehabilitation program.
- Work as a 1st responder for all PWID / PWUD clients that come to the practice /clinic.
- Work under the supervision of a Social Worker, Professional Nurse, and Dr.
Requirements - Social Auxiliary Work qualification.
- Must not have taken part in the YES Programme before.
- South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
- Registered with the SACSSP.
- A valid driverâs license is advantageous (not compulsory ).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Professional communication skills.
- Telephone Skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize.
- Computer literacy and high attention to detail / Microsoft Office Skills ( fully digital environment ).
- Fluent in English and understands at least one other South African language (Sesotho or Zulu or similar.
- Well-presented and professional.
