KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing composite and mechanical surfaces for paint.
- Ensure paint stock levels dont drop under minimum levels.
- Ability to understand expire dates on paints, hardeners and thinners.
- Must be able to help with composite work to stay busy when paint work is done.
- Maintaining the spray booths filters and servicing.
- Be able to fill, sand and profile any imperfections, being it on moulds or composite parts.
- Signing off job cards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Type of qualification: Grade 10 or higher
- Years of experience required: Min 5 years in Spray Painting
- Professional license(s) required: Aviation Qualified Spray Painter
- Sound knowledge of: Aviation paint standards
ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Spray Painting. Proficiency in understanding and interpreting engineering drawings.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Must be willing to work night shift, as this position is to fill the extra shifts Spray Painter.
