KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and Configure Systems:
- Set up and configure PCs and software components to ensure optimal usability.
- Troubleshoot and Repair:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; repair or replace damaged hardware as needed.
- User Profile Management:
- Create and manage employee profiles on PCs and networks.
- Server Support:
- Provide support and maintenance for servers, both online and offline.
- System Upgrades:
- Upgrade systems and software to ensure compatibility across all computers.
- Security Management
- Install and update antivirus software to maintain user-level security.
- Software and Hardware Testing:
- Evaluate and test new software and hardware to ensure performance and compatibility.
- User Support:
- Act as the first point of contact for error reporting and provide technical support to users.
- Department Collaboration:
- Foster positive relationships with all departments and colleagues to facilitate smooth IT operations.
- Reporting
- Report directly to the IT Manager on various IT support activities and issues.
- Back-up Operations
- Conduct daily backup operations to safeguard data
- Technical Documentation
- Manage and maintain technical documentation related to IT systems and processes.
- Printer Maintenance
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot printers to ensure efficient operation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- IT-Related Qualification : Degree or certification in IT.
- Certifications : A+, N+, MCSE.
- Technical Knowledge :
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
- Network printer knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other day-to-day software.
- Experience : 3-5 years in a similar role, working with environments of 20+ PCs.
- Transport : Own transport required.
- Proficiency : Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge :
- Essential: Microsoft Server and Desktop software.
- Advantageous: Linux OS.
