KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and inspect all incoming composite material deliveries, verifying quantities, specifications, and condition, and document the receipt accordingly.
- Accurately record the receipt, storage location, and usage of composite materials in the inventory management system.
- Maintain the composite material storage area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and environmentally controlled as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
- Pick, pack, and issue composite materials to production teams and other authorized personnel, adhering to established processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Implement and follow proper material handling and safety protocols to prevent damage or contamination of composite materials.
- Communicate effectively with procurement, production, and quality teams to coordinate material availability and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist in the investigation of inventory-related incidents, such as material shortages or damages, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of inventory management processes and systems.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with the company's quality management system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a stores, warehousing, or materials management role, preferably in a manufacturing or composites industry setting.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Familiarity with composite materials, their handling requirements, and storage best practices.
- Proficient in using inventory management technology tool and computer proficient
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions with precision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Physically capable of performing the job duties, which may include lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy or bulky composite materials.
