A Senior Financial Analyst evaluates financial data, builds models and analyses trends to support high-stakes investment and financial decisions. In addition to interpreting

Requirements:
• BCom/BBusSci in Finance, Investments, or Accounting (or a similar degree).
• CFA designation or actively pursuing CFA is preferred; RE (Regulatory Exam)
certification is beneficial.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or related
roles, with exposure to alternative investments.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions; VBA coding is a plus.
• Familiarity with quarterly reporting, investment performance tracking and scenario analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, investment principles and valuation methodologies.
• A strong interest in renewable energy, sustainable investment and economic development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with investors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modelling, and valuations of new investment opportunities and portfolio companies.
• Prepare investment proposals, quarterly performance reports and scenario analyses for investor presentations.
• Monitor and assess the performance of existing portfolio investments and recommend action plans as needed.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and economic factors that influence investment decisions.
• Support investment due diligence, including evaluating financials, industry data and reviewing legal and compliance documentation.
• Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, and models to track fund performance and key metrics.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Collaborate with the senior investment team to ensure all fund documentation meets regulatory and tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with investors, providing performance updates and addressing inquiries.
• Assist in the development and launch of new funds, aligning them with company strategic goals.
• Work with the marketing and business development teams to support fund promotion and investor education.
