A Day in the Life

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our medical devices and software. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test strategies aligned with regulatory standards for medical devices
Execute test cases, scripts, and data for various types of testing, including functional, performance, usability, security, and reliability
Work closely with Product Owner and Developers to define acceptance criteria and definition of done for both stories and releases
Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
Design and implement automated tests and frameworks for regression testing and continuous integration
Prepare and maintain test reports, metrics, and documentation for presentation to management and other stakeholders
Keep up to date with medical device testing standards, tools, frameworks, and best practices
Required Knowledge and Experience:
BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the medical device industry (or other safety-critical industries)
Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and 21 CFR 820
Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, TestArchitect, etc.
Certification in software testing
Willingness to be on-site (minimum 3 days/week in London office)
Experience working with deployed hardware systems and remote device management, along with a strong background in virtualization, is a plus. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferable.
