Responsibilities:
Citrus Production
- Implement the set Irrigation and Fertiliser programs.
- Integrate Pest Management (IPM) Responsible for monitoring pests with the assistance of scouts and implementing the prescribed protection programs such as spraying, baiting, and biological controls
- Orchard maintenance The control of weeds, pruning, and repair of netting.
- Harvesting Manage the harvest teams, coordinate resources (bins, etc), and manage the hostel housing seasonal workers.
- Day-to-day management of the work teams to perform various tasks.
General Maintenance and Development: - Required to support all maintenance and new development activities undertaken by the group. This function is required for all production areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in Agricultural or Business Sciences would be preferred, but lack thereof is not disqualifying.
- Ability to work well with the general workforce.
