Red Ember recruitment is looking for a Marketing and Sales Manager for a large trendy, up-market restaurant looking to hire a dynamic, hard-working individual who is passionate about what they do.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing plans – market research, analysis, company position etc.
- Company presentation - posters, pamphlets, signage, onsite branding initiatives, catalogue designs
- Direct marketing – project and event management, exhibitions, attending relevant events, liaising with our sponsored partners, etc.
- Networking – generating leads, closing deals and positively representing the brand.
- Sales and corporate - Reaching out to corporates, hotels and tour/travel agencies for functions, business dinners.
- Online and digital marketing – Social media platforms, website management, content creation and management, liaising with online partners, e-mail marketing, SEO optimization, online review portals, etc.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to budget accordingly.
- Ability to work within a team and all staff on-site.
- Experience in networking and building strategic, revenue-generating relationships to expand the brand.
- Experience in PR development, PR events, digital PR, influencer campaigns and crisis management.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to take accountability.
- Highly organised.
- Must be able to differentiate between urgent and important tasks.
- Able to solve problems and find valuable solutions.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric.
- Postgraduate in Marketing/Media/Communications.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing and sales.
- Experience in the hospitality industry will be advantageous.
