Financial Planner Job Description
Finding the right Financial Planner is like finding the perfect life partner. Our Liberty Financial Planners are professionally trained to guide our clients through every step of their life-long financial journey. They will adapt to changing needs and help maintain and grow the client's finances.
As a Financial Planner, you will learn to build your practice with the support and grooming of sales coaches and experienced planners as well as receive accredited training. You will balance new client development, sales activities, customer service and compliance with personal and professional growth and development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete required program training and assignments, obtain mandatory industry licenses within prescribed timeframes, master assessments and meet minimum performance and production standards.
- Meet production targets that impact overall company revenue goals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Liberty tools and systems.
- Develop a book of business consistent with Liberty’s standards.
- Provide a high level of client service.
- Manage the full scope of a client relationship by evaluating the client’s financial needs, investment opportunities, and insurance needs.
- Develop client pipelines by prospecting, networking and engaging in initiatives.
- Recommend financial solutions based on client needs.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Completed post-matric finance related qualification in marketing, business, law, economics, investments, risk management, etc.
- Own laptop (Windows 7 professional).
- Clear credit rating.
- No criminal record.
- Own vehicle and driver’s license.
Package & Remuneration
R10000.00 start-up stipend (NEW to industry only).
