The Commercial and Regulatory Analyst plays a crucial role in analysing market trends, regulatory requirements, and commercial strategies to ensure compliance and optimize business performance. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and inform strategic planning.
- Monitor and analyse changes in relevant regulations and ensure the company's compliance with local, national, and international laws. Prepare compliance reports and documentation.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of regulatory changes and commercial strategies. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to develop and implement strategies that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Identify potential regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.
- Prepare regular reports for management on regulatory compliance status, market analysis findings, and recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged in decision-making processes.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial or regulatory analyst role.
Skills: - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools; familiarity with databases and statistical software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions.
