Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor - Mining Industry

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled Dispatch Supervisor to join their team in the mining industry. The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch department, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of materials and equipment. They will coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that production targets are met and that all safety and operational procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dispatch team to ensure that materials and equipment are distributed as per production schedules.
- Monitor and track the movement of materials and equipment, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and operational procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including inventory levels, deliveries, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and maintenance, to identify and resolve any issues that may impact dispatch operations.
- Train and mentor dispatch team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- 5 years of experience in the mining industry within an opencast setting
- Control Room work experience
- Computer literate with extensive experience in Excel
- Valid Drivers License
Benefits:
- Salary: R700K-R900K per year
