Vedanta is a $30bn revenue and $10bn in profit organization and further plans to invest $20bn in 4-5 years' time in the expansion of their brownfield and some greenfield capacity of Oil & Gas, renewable energy, display glass, semi-conductor, mining, and smelting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for Internal Control Function for VZI, including all internal audit and MAS processes.
- Drive improvement in Tier Ratings and Performance Standards.
- Benchmarking in SOP's and Best Practices with Vedanta BU's and other organizations.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, both in terms of operational process and the internal audit function itself.
- Leveraging analytics to deliver on business KPI's with digitalization of processes.
- Identify and evaluate key risks facing the organization and design internal audit plans and strategies to address those risks.
- Act as the point of contact for all the activities driven by group MAS.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Chartered Accountant or similar degree.
- Proven Internal Audit Experience.
- 3 - 5 years' experience with Management Assurance Services at Vedanta (advantageous).
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
- Strong leadership with well-rounded industry insights.
- Strong computer skills, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, Authenticity, Adaptability, and Resilience.
- The ability to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
