PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR
PROCUREMENT Company in Pretoria East is looking for a PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: (Training Provided)
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize cost savings, ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and promote sustainability.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, due diligence, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Lead supplier negotiations to obtain the best possible terms for pricing, delivery, and quality while maintaining strong relationships.
- Oversee and manage the entire procurement lifecycle, including needs identification, supplier sourcing, contract management, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives with overall business objectives and support company-wide cost reduction goals.
- Implement and maintain robust procurement processes, systems, and tools to streamline operations and ensure transparency in supplier performance.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database to facilitate informed decision-making and enable efficient supplier onboarding.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by actively participating in the development and sharing of procurement best practices and industry insights.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.

Requirements
- Matric completed
- 3 years of experience in Procurement/Administration/Sales/Personal Assistant to Director
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Administration / Stock Control / Personal Assistant beneficial.
