We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate delivery vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
* Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
*Requirements*
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
* Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries efficiently.
* Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial.
