*Overview*
We are seeking a reliable Parcel Delivery Drivers to join our client in Chard. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parcels to customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. If you have experience in commercial driving, we encourage you to apply.
*Responsibilities*
* Safely operate a delivery van to transport parcels to various locations.
* Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns.
* Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
*Requirements*
* Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
