Are you passionate about structuring new businesses at ZEISS? We are in search of a motivated, inquisitive, and results-oriented individual to assume the pivotal position of Manager - Strategic Innovation Projects within our Beyond Innovation vehicle. Within ZEISS, this vehicle enables high-risk business development and enables the company to explore new markets and technologies beyond its current fields, driving innovation and growth. The selected candidate will play a crucial role by offering expert advice, guidance, and support to ZEISS's emerging business fields within the Beyond Innovation vehicle. The individual will collaborate closely with several stakeholders to facilitate integration into business processes, provide operational guidance, establish clear frameworks and governance logic, and coach teams to assist in team formation and roadmap development. Primary responsibilities include:

Assisting in the preparation of Beyond fields and board presentations

Establishing OKR set-up and helping the team align campaign goals with OKRs

Independently collaborating with all team members on Key Results and associated initiatives

Deriving action items from OKRs and moving the team into action

Accountability for preliminary financial planning

Organizing and structuring governance meetings

Project specific stakeholder management

Moderating the communication between team and management

A degree in natural science, life science, engineering, or economics with outstanding grades

An additional PhD or MBA degree is a plus

Distinctive professional experience in dynamic working environments such as Consulting or Venture capital gained during the last around 3 years

Track record in project management abilities, including the capacity to structure and communicate intricate content

Excellent commercial acumen and financial planning skills

Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Keen interest in investigating complex problems
