First Technology is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Manager to oversee the financial management, operational processes, and strategic initiatives at our Polokwane branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the company's day-to-day financial and operational activities, while also driving key projects aimed at improving operational performance and financial growth. · Manage the Operations/Admin team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity. · Handle escalations from internal stakeholders and suppliers, working diligently to resolve issues promptly and effectively. · Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with distributors, vendors, and customers to foster collaboration and enhance business partnerships. · Oversee stock management and reporting, including quarterly stock takes, spot checks, and monitoring of backorders. · Assist the Accounts Payable department in resolving supplier payment queries and escalations, and manage credit requests as needed. · Ensure customer invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with quotes, and manage CSP and SLA monthly billing. · Conduct weekly meetings with the team to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges or concerns. · Provide regular reporting and monitoring on various metrics, including top 20 supplier spend, sales breakdown per vendor per business, GP loss report, ageing stock, backorder report, and distribution fees. · Collaborate with the Branch Manager to streamline business processes and optimize operational efficiency.
