Job Title: Coachbuilder Location: Sheffield Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 Per Annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Coachbuilder with proven experience in the repair, maintenance, and modification of HGV and PSV vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, and refurbishing vehicle bodies and interior fittings, ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Fabricate, repair, and modify vehicle bodies for HGVs and PSVs.Install and repair interior and exterior bodywork, including panels, doors, floors, and seating systems.Conduct vehicle inspections, ensuring all bodywork complies with safety and regulatory standards.Use welding, riveting, and other metalwork techniques to repair and reinforce vehicle structures.Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans to deliver precise and accurate work.Collaborate with mechanics and electricians to ensure vehicles are completed on time and to a high standard.Maintain accurate records of repairs and modifications carried out. Requirements:Proven experience as a Coachbuilder working on HGVs, PSVs, or other commercial vehicles.Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction and repair techniques.Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints.Experience with welding, riveting, and other fabrication tools and techniques.A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.A full, clean driving license is desirable.
