A property business based in central Brighton is looking for a full-time permanent Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting time to join an award-winning company looking to expand their team.
Your new role
Below is a list of day-to-day responsibilities you will undertake in this role -
Assisting with client, tenant and contractor enquiries on behalf of property managers Handling mail inboxes, inbound telephone calls and face to face enquiries Resolving any enquiries or complaints from tenants Maintain and update spreadsheets when required to ensure all information is kept up to dateMail merging letters General office administration duties e.g. general filing, assisting with telephone calls, photocopying documents, binding documents, collating bundles of documents and issuing them under guidance Management of property keys being taken and returned and registering door entry fobs Managing parking permits and monitoring CCTV footage when necessary Supporting directors in organising community events Issuing allotment licences and keys annually Producing newsletters for residents Liaising with utility companies if there are any queries to ensure all are dealt with and resolved with a suitable and successful outcome Health and safety administration records to be managed efficiently by assisting the heath and safety coordinator with the companies' database by uploading documentation, updating task diary and checking for any outstanding task every month for the property manager
What you'll need to succeed You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with previous administration and customer service experience. You will be confident in handling all customer interactions including enquiries and complaints via telephone, email and face to face. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to organise your work load efficiently. You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
What you'll get in return This role is paying £26,989 per annum with 22days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays and will increase each year after 2 years of service. You can receive up to an additional 3 days due to the partnership's festive shut down period (no work between Christmas and New Year) and an additional day off for your birthday. A company pension contribution of 4% of your salary and after 2 years of service will go up to 7%. You will work Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with a 1 hour 15 mins unpaid lunch break (36.25 hours per week). This role is fully office based.
