To lead the implementation of the Experience Design (ED) strategy within the area of specialisation, and to drive alignment of business operations to the ED strategy. To plan for, execute, and deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience design for clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide insight into the design, management and implementation of relevant policies, processes and systems in order to facilitate the management of risks.
- Implement and take responsibility for all tasks associated with ensuring successful implementation of the Experience Design strategy for SBG within the area of specialisation.
- Collaborate with other Business Units to share learnings and best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing and implementation of best practices. Act as a trusted adviser for design across the Group and stakeholders.
- Provide input into operational plans and the practical application thereof, to ensure that operational plans are clearly articulated and understood.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Information Studies
Experience Required: 8-10 years in Analysis & Design, with demonstrated workplace experience within the area of specialisation and evidence of exposure to leading teams (3-4 years' people management experience). Variety of experience both internal and external to the Financial Services sector.

- The ability to apply a methodology for understanding and mapping client journeys and knows when and how to develop and use personas.
- The ability to analyse statistics and other data, interpret and evaluate results, and create reports and presentations for use by others.
- The ability to understand and apply the principles of design typography, colour graphics, arrangement of individual elements, logos and the overall design to ensure the design supports our brand blueprint, visual language and style guides.
- An understanding of the products and services features, benefits and pricing of the products and services on offer to the business across multiple business areas.
- Knowledge and understanding of the techniques for validating requirements for form and content.
- Ability to review and study relevant information from various sources to develop new information. Ability to identify primary and secondary authorities to validate the research.
