As the Senior Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our operations across all dark stores and retail facilities. You will oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving to processing and delivery, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage operations across all facilities, setting high performance standards to ensure efficiency and quality in order fulfilment.
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyse and optimise operational processes and systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Build, train, and lead a high-performing operations team capable of meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and management practices to ensure availability and freshness of products, minimising waste and losses.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with supply chain team and logistics partners to ensure timely restocking and resolve any supply chain issues promptly.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that the operations team delivers exceptional service, addressing and resolving customer issues related to order fulfilment swiftly.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within all operational activities and facilities.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans to support business growth and operational scalability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within the retail, e-commerce, or logistics industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving operational processes, leading teams, and achieving tangible results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
