The successful incumbent will be responsible for optimal financial performance and supporting business growth. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with strong business acumen, to provide insights and optimize allocation. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Duties include, but are not limited to: Formulation, implementation and monitoring of internal controls and processes, financial targets and budgets Provide support to all areas of business, through system design and formulation Financial planning and advisory Control financial transactions, accounting matters and audit systems Oversee preparation of annual financial statements, BBBEE audits and facilitation of external audits Monitor compliance, including capital, hedging, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions Responsible for cash management, including operational and hedging Review financial reporting packs Responsible for stock control Calculation and management of operational and other costs Financial evaluation of potential acquisition and / or internal expansion opportunities Final approval of customer credit applications Regular review of hedging strategy Engage with customers and suppliers Negotiations with banks and insurance service providers Company risk reviews Education: Qualified CA(SA) essential Job Experience & Skills Required: Completed SAICA articles 7 to 9 years post-articles experience in a senior level financial management role essential Manufacturing or FMCG industry experience essential Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience with hedge accounting preferred Strong organizational skills Meticulous attention to detail Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports Good oral and written communication skills APPLY NOW If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
