REQUIREMENTS - Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end sales order process
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing, tracking, and client communications
- Fast and Accurate data capturing skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, production workflows, and order management processes
- Good computer literacy
- Able to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
DUTIES - Manage the full lifecycle of sales orders from initial receipt to completion, ensuring all steps are followed accurately and on time
- Work closely with the sales and production teams to align order timelines with production schedules
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order updates, delivery schedules, and any order-related inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively managing client expectations and resolving any issues that may arise during the production or delivery process
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of materials required for each order
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate material requirements to avoid any delays in the production process
- Oversee logistics and delivery arrangements to ensure that completed orders reach clients on time and in the expected condition
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to optimise delivery schedules and troubleshoot any logistical challenges
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that client requirements and quality standards are met in every order
- Provide hands-on support as needed to facilitate smooth communication and workflow between the production floor and client-facing departments
