SHE Specialist required for an automotive manufacturing company based in Pretoria , Gauteng
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (Safety Management)
- ISO 14000 (Internal Auditor)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a SHE department
- Ensure compliance to SHE legislation and other requirements (Standards, Best Practices, etc.)
- Oversee Contractors providing SHE services
- Maintain and update Site CIP
Responsibilities:
- Achieve the annual SHE Operational Plan in accordance to set targets
- Develop, update and maintain SHE Policies, Procedures, Protocols, Work Instructions, Codes of Practice, etc.
- Advise on the SHE requirements for new Projects and Developments
- Coordinate incident/accident investigations and conduct investigations into workplace incidents
- Maintain and update the Emergency Action Plan
- Assume overall responsibility for the integrity of the Site Security System
