My client is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities include:
- Designing and engineering vehicle components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
- Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing design concepts to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to develop innovative solutions
- Performing detailed calculations, simulations, and stress analyses to validate designs and optimize performance
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design reports
- Participating in prototype development, testing, and validation activities, both in the lab and on the field
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in vehicle design and engineering
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience (X years) in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including chassis, powertrain, suspension, and body structure
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing vehicle design and safety (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, ISO)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
