Task Level 9: R 257 688 to R 334 488 (Basic Salary)
R 415 020 to R 514 327 (Total Cost to Council Package)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Trade Certificate as a Plumber
- Grade 12
- 3 Years relevant plumbing experience
- Valid Code C1 Driver’s License and PDP
- Must be prepared to perform Overtime and Standby duties when required
- Required to work in all weather conditions
- Required to work with hazardous chemicals and materials
- Physically healthy and fit
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Responsible to monitor reservoir levels and sewer pumps
- Responsible for repairs and maintenance of water and sewer pipelines (mains) and fittings
- Installation and maintenance of sewer connections and new mains
- Installation and maintenance of water meters, service connections and new mains
- Responsible for materials and stores requisitions
- Record keeping of daily work
- General Maintenance of domestic installations on municipal buildings
- Responsible for on-site occupational health and safety
- Responsible for Municipal Assets and equipment
- Responsible for supervision of staff
