The Service Technician will work within and support the South African Service structure.
As the Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Service & repair systems to full working capacity.
- Maintain and follow warranty processes and procedures for all intended repairs.
- Assist with service-related queries at hospitals or customer sites.
- Completion of paperwork submissions and daily activity reports.
- Fill in and complete job cards for any service repairs, warranties, or labour completed.
- Communicate weekly visits and schedules to Hospitals.
- Maintain & build good customer relationships.
- Build relationships with service consultants for support on service activities.
- Assist with IPC and PAC system repairs if needed.
- Plan country trips to outline areas and regions to complete equipment inspections, services & repairs.
- Assess, repair, service & provide reports over a wide range of equipment.
- Fill out quotations for replacement parts and keep a track record.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards on all Arjo products.
- Perform annual maintenance services on demo equipment.
- Update & capture assessment and manage service records.
- Complete quality field actions and provide reports.
- Adequate stock control on service parts.
- Maintain company vehicle in good condition.
- Manage tools and testing equipment.
- Maintain vehicle mileage log book.
The experience, qualifications, and skills you will need:
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Technical and mechanical mindset.
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy skills in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08/EB) and PDP would be an advantage.
- Minimum experience in driving a company vehicle of at least 2 years.
- Ability to work independently.
- Understanding of Arjo products.
- Customer Service Orientated.
- Must be available to work after hours on an ad-hoc basis.
- Must be available to travel nationally when needed or required.
- Solid business acumen.
