We are seeking an experienced
Construction Manager to oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining safety and compliance regulations.
Salary: R30k - R50k
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning :
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. - Team Leadership :
Lead, manage, and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Site Management :
Oversee daily site operations to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. - Quality Control :
Ensure all construction work meets quality and industry standards. - Budget Management :
Monitor project costs, control expenses, and report on budget variances. - Health and Safety :
Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with local regulations and company policies. - Stakeholder Communication :
Regularly communicate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues. - Risk Management :
Identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering , or a related field.
- (8+) years of experience in construction management or site management.
- Proficiency in construction management software
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC), and local building codes.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
