You should have a passion for auditing and want to remain in the profession.
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Plan and execute the financial statement and operational audits, including risk assessments, scoping, and testing procedures.
- Identify and evaluate key risks and control weaknesses and develop recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate working paper documentation.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Be up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
- Assist with independent reviews and compilations.
- Completion of income tax returns.
- Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.
Type of person:
- Must be able to handle pressure.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (due to nature of clients dealing with)
- Have own transport
- Friendly, hard worker
- CaseWare experience - (essential)
- Be able to work overtime over deadline periods
