Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Salary: R70 000 - R90 000 CTC incl Provident Fund + bonus/comm/fuel
A leading hospitality company is looking for a direct contract sales hunter and key account manager to head up business development, client retention, contract negotiation and retention, public relations, social media, and brand marketing management overseeing a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Direct Contract Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Social Media overseeing small teams.
- Ensure company services are presented in a professional manner with client needs and budgets fully evaluated.
- Ensure all leads are followed up on, renewal of contracts, and additional business opportunities are maximised.
- Coordinate client surveys and assess feedback on services.
- Attend to client issues with the Operations and other departments.
- Maintain system-managed pipeline records.
- Monthly sales statistics and other reporting.
- Oversee and conduct quotations, proposals, and presentations to clients.
- Deal negotiations and closing within cost parameters.
- Contract negotiation and management.
- Ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Marketing, advertising, and PR management with external providers to meet company objectives.
- Budget management.
- Custodian of marketing and branding materials and standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification required.
- Senior level sales experience in either catering, hospitality, or retail with a proven sales track record.
- Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in presentation and proposal writing.
- Good financial and budget preparation ability.
- Negotiation and analytical skills.
- Own vehicle, extensive travel.
Compensation: R70 000 to R90 000 CTC including Provident Fund plus Fuel Card, Bonuses, and Commissions.
